Don't feel too badly, I've been scammed too. Most people new to the internet business world have been at least once. The phrase, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.", is bandied about quite frequently. It is good advice, but if you're new to the home business or affiliate marketing world it really doesn't help that much. That's not a criticism of any kind. I know you're not stupid. Just the fact that you're looking into a home based internet business proves you're not. If you didn't already realize what a huge income potential the internet has, you wouldn't even be considering starting a home business. Let's be blunt here; it's a global market. How much bigger a resource could there be? Unfortunately the scam artists know how big a resource the internet is too. They know you've got families to feed and bills to pay and you're looking for better ways to do it. All they have to do is put a really sweet offer in front of you and you'll bite. It's not stupidity that makes you jump at their offers, it's desperation. If people are desperate enough they'll try just about anything. What have they got to lose? They're already about as bad off as they can be, or at least that's the frame of mind many people are in. It's that kind of thinking that makes newbies a perfect hunting ground for scam artists. Okay, so where am I going with all this scam talk? Well, here it is. The only way to avoid a scam is information. That's easy enough, right? The internet is nothing but information. The difficult part is knowing the good information from the bad information, and that's where most of us make our mistakes.>br> How do we, the new and oh so green, know who and what we should listen to? If you're new to affiliate marketing and starting a home business, then you need simplicity. You need simple easy to follow instructions to get you started. Forget the books, courses, and seminars, that stuff can come later after you've gotten your feet wet and need to hone your skills.
